Our Story

Founder, Heidi Appel

What helps flowers bloom? Water and sunshine. As it turns out, that’s what makes Heidi bloom too. Growing up near Lake Michigan, Heidi spent much of her childhood painting flowers, birds, and plants in watercolor with her grandmother (also an artist) or aboard her stepfather’s sailboat, peering down at the water and imagining a pool of glitter. And so, her search to capture eternal Spring was born.

Now a resident of Atlanta, GA, Heidi traded the waters of Lake Michigan for an ocean of Atlanta traffic, but feels right at home among the warm smiles and warmer weather in the South. She continues to find inspiration in nature, using saturated colors, natural textures, lifestyle photography, a whole lot of heart (and a tasteful amount of glitter).

Heidi’s career as a graphic designer includes experience in apparel, corporate branding, packaging, stationery and greeting cards, working with high profile brands like Hasbro, Express, Bath and Body Works, Lane Bryant, Chute Gerdeman, The Andrew Jergens Company, Disney, American Greetings, Paul Frank, Taylor Swift, and AG Properties.
